Nicolò Razeto

Nicolò Razeto is a prominent Italian canoe and kayak athlete who specializes primarily in Wildwater Canoeing (canoa discesa) and Canoe Ocean Racing (surfski), while also competing in Canoe Slalom.

Born on August 2, 1999, in Genoa, Italy, Razeto developed a passion for paddling at a very young age, inspired by his father. Over the years, he has represented Italy in numerous international competitions, including the ICF Wildwater Canoeing World Championships and European Championships, showcasing his skills on fast-flowing whitewater rivers.

Throughout his career, Razeto has paddled for notable Italian clubs, including Canottieri Genovesi Elpis and C.C. Nervi. He has enjoyed significant success on the national stage, securing Italian national titles in competitive age brackets such as the Under-23 category.

In addition to river disciplines, Razeto is highly accomplished in Ocean Racing. Paddling long-distance, "sit-on-top" sea kayaks known as surfskis, he competes against demanding open-ocean waves and wind. His versatility is highlighted by major domestic victories in this field, such as winning the prestigious Tigullio Ocean Racing Challenge.
