The La Vila Joiosa program is vital for the ICF’s women’s development strategy and expanding Canoe Ocean Racing in emerging nations. Vaikobi’s commitment to outfit 15 promising paddlers from diverse regions, at no cost, directly removes financial barriers to elite competition. The 2026 ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Series features four World Cup events across four continents. The next World Cup is from July 31 to August 2 in Tahiti, French Polynesia. The World Championships will be held in La Vila Joiosa from October 9 to 11.
